Public Service Enterprise Group (PSEG), headquartered in Newark, New Jersey, is a regulated gas and electric service company serving the state. Online Account Registration

The online services enables the customers to easily, quickly and safely manage their account details, to make any changes , to start, stop or transfer the services and even to pay their bills within minutes with the environment friendly paperless billing option.


  • For a new customer, click on ?begin registration? on the right side of the page
  • The next page will prompt to enter the details like name, unique username and password and to create a four-digit Personal Identification Number (PIN). This PIN is required to restore your password, if any time required.



  • Press Submit
  • A confirmation on the email address is sent that the registration is complete.


Start/ Stop/ Transfer Service

The customers can visit the link to apply for a new service or can call the customer care department or also can visit any of the service centers. For applying online, following points can be considered:

  • Online application can be completed and submitted with all details asked for
  • An order tracking number will be sent immediately
  • Within 3 business days, a confirmation will be sent on the email address or the reason as to why the application has not been processed
  • Then a welcome letter and a brochure is also sent
  • On similar lines, the account can also be easily transferred to a new area or can be closed by visiting the home page through My Account

For customer?s convenience, the company offers various options of bill payment which are as follows-

Automatic Bill Payment

This payment option implies for the bill amount debited from the checking account on your bill due date automatically. You can enroll in this plan by following some steps-


  • Then Select Automatic Bill Pay
  • You will be registered under this plan with no services fees


Online Bill Payment

?The customers can make bill payments using the online services either from their bank account or using their Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover Card

Pay from the Bank account

  • Log in to the home page by the link
  • On the My Account home page Select View/Pay My Bill
  • Enter all the checking account details as asked for and register
  • Enter the bill amount and the payment is processed with no service fees

Pay from the Credit cards

  • This option is available through Western Union Speed pay
  • On the My Account home page Select View/Pay My Bill
  • The payment is made by entering the card details and the amount
  • Here a fee of $3.95 for each payment is charged for the services.


Pay online through the bank

  • Using the concerned bank?s online programs, you can process the payment. The details are mentioned in the bank?s websites or you can use the link to get information about your concerned bank?s programs.


3. Pay by phone

Some customers are not keen to pay the bills on the internet, or even mailing, and then they can use this option to pay over the telephone.

  • They can call at Tel: 1-800-553-7734 (PSEG) while paying through the bank account and Tel: 1-888-575-6273 if using a credit card.
  • A fee of $3.95 is charged for using the credit card payments.
  • Even the customers can use their mobile for the payments. You have to Text ?PAY? to 4PSEG (47734) and using the saved bank account details the payment will be processed. No service fee is charged however the standard message rates will apply.


4. Pay by authorized agent

  • The company has 38,000 Western Union locations throughout the USA. So the customers can make their payments as per their convenience from Monday through Friday, between 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
  • A Western Union agent service fee of $1.50 is charged for payment processing
  • Using the link you can search for the agent in your area by entering the address or the agent name.


5. Pay by Mail

The customers are also given an option to mail their checks or money orders to the following address-

6. Equal Payment Plan (EPP)

This payment option enables the customer to pay the same amount each month. As per the consumption the total cost is divided into equal installments throughout the year so that due to fluctuations in the energy costs the customers can easily pay by not affecting their monthly budget.
